The vehicle identification number
(VIN) or the chassis number is
moulded on the fire wall in the
engine compartment. To access this
number, slide the lid on the back of
the engine compartment. Make sure
to close this lid before closing the
bonnet.
On some types, the chassis number/
chassis and engine numbers also
appear on the plate attached to the
left side doorjamb.
On some other types, a certification
plate is attached to the left side
doorjamb.
The Vehicle Identification Number
(VIN) appears on a plate attached to
the left side doorjamb, and on a plate
fastened to the top of the dashboard
on some types.
