Hydrophilic Mirror Care

(For some models)
Dirt or stains cause the mirrors to
become temporarily less hydrophilic,
which is normal. Several days of
direct sunlight improves their
hydrophilicity. To improve it faster,
follow the next steps.
Inspection
Make sure that a thin film of water is
formed on the mirrors
(hydrophilicity), after you have
splashed water on them. If
hydrophilicity is not noticeable, clean
the mirrors, and if it is noticeable,
expose the mirrors to ultraviolet
light.
Exterior Care
Cleaning
1.
Clean off any dirt and stains on the
mirrors using water.
2.
Wipe the mirrors with a wet, clean
cloth.
3.
If dirt or stains are still left on the
mirrors, wipe the mirrors with a
soft cloth using commercially-
available glass cleaner or mild
detergent and rinse out the
mirrors thoroughly in water.
Ultraviolet Irradiation
Leave your vehicle outdoors for 5 to
9 hours to expose the mirrors to
direct sunlight.
