Communication

The 3WL10 air circuit breaker can be integrated into an industrial communication network via
communication modules for remote monitoring and remote operation of a circuit breaker.
The communication modules are used with the electronic releases of ETUs of the 6-series.
Depending on the communication modules used, the following protocols are available:
● Modbus RTU via RS485 (COM042)
● Modbus TCP via Ethernet and other IP communication (COM043)
● PROFIBUS DP (COM040)
● PROFINET IO (COM041)
● IEC 61850 (COM044)
Up to two different communication modules can be installed at the same time so that
connection to the communication systems is possible with different protocols.
