4.1 Types of installation and installation locations
The guide frame can only be used vertically upright.
Note
To integrate the circuit breaker optimally into the control cabinet, the 4-pole circuit breaker
can optionally be ordered with the neutral pole on the right or left-hand side of the circuit
breaker. These are basic versions of the circuit breaker and are permanently defined in the
circuit breaker. In all these versions, the circuit breaker is capable of full performance (no
derating, full current carrying capacity, and protection settings).
Phase sequence neutral left: N - L1 - L2 - L3
Phase sequence neutral right: L1 - L2 - L3 - N
The phase sequence L1, L2, L3 can be subsequently changed (to L3, L2, L1) by the user in
the electronic trip units of the 6-series to match any system configuration.
Mounting options
In addition to floor mounting, both the fixed breaker and the withdrawable breaker permit
direct rear wall mounting.
For floor mounting of the fixed breaker version, mounting supports are required (see Section
Support for floor fixation (fixed breaker) (Page 101)).
