14.3.8.1 Variable Resistors (VR), Light-Emitting Diodes, and Check
Pins by PCB
Of the variable resistors (VR), light-emitting diodes (LED), and check pins found in the
machine, those that are needed when servicing the machine in the field are discussed.
- Some LEDs carry current and emit light when they are off; this is a normal condition, and
must be kept in mind.
- Take note of the following:
...VR that may be used in the field.
...VR that must not be used in the field.
14.3.8.2 Points to Note About the Leakage Breaker
Points to Note When Checking the Output of a PCB
Normally, an AC voltage is applied to the terminal of the leakage breaker [1].
Take care not to touch it when making a check.
