13.6.1 Adjusting the
Horizontal
Registration When
Replacing
Cassette
- 1st Side Adjustment (mechanism)
1) Make a copy using the cassette 1/2, and
check to make sure that the front margin is
2.5 +/-1.5 mm.
- If the value is not as indicated for the
cassette 1 or 2, make the following
adjustments:

2) If a 2-Cassette Pedestal-Y2 is installed,
open the right door [1] of the pedestal.

3) Open the lower right cover [2]; then,
remove the 2 screws [3], and detach the
cover (lower front) [4].

4) Take out the cassette 1 or 2.
5) Check the index [1] of the adjusting
plate.
