Installing the 7810iR-ent for Private LAN

7810iR-ent uses a one time Installation Key to install all 7845i-ent's that have been
properly programmed and connected to the network. Up to 225 7845i-ent's can be installed
using one 10-digit key. Once the Installation Key has been used for an install, it is no
longer needed for system operation.
Before attempting to install on a private LAN, complete the following checklist:
Program 7810iR-ent as described in the previous section. Have the unit's City ID & CS
•
ID available for use when programming the 7845i-ent's.
NOTE: The Installation Key cannot be changed once at least one account is registered with
the 7810iR-ent. If it is necessary to enter a new Installation Key the 7810iR-ent data base
must be cleared first.
Ensure all 7845i-ent's being installed have been programmed with AlarmNet-i = NO

and Private LAN = Y.
Ensure all 7845i-ent's being installed has been programmed with same City ID and CS
•
ID as programmed into the 7810iR-ent.
Ensure all 7845i-ent's being installed have unique Primary Subscriber numbers.

Ensure 7810iR-ent and all 7845i-ent's have good network connectivity by observing the

WEB led. If the WEB led is not lit, the network connection should be checked.
Action
1. From the Home Screen, press the
AlarmNet button.
2. Press the Advanced Setup button.
