• QnA extension designation: Read/write with the device memory extension
designation shown in Appendix 1.
• Commands for QnA compatible 3E, QnA compatible 3C, QnA compatible 4C
frames and 4E frame

POINT
The buffer memory of intelligent function modules (including the C24/E71) can be
divided into four areas: read/write area, read only area, write only area, and system
area.
Since these areas differ depending on the modules, read/write data from/to the
buffer memory according to the descriptions in the manual for the module used.
If data are incorrectly read/written, an error may occur in the programmable
controller CPU or corresponding intelligent function module.
