Acknowledge—handshaking signal driven by the NI 653X, indicating that
it is ready to transfer data.
Application Development Environment
Application Programming Interface—a standardized set of subroutines or
functions along with the parameters that a program can call.
For hardware, it is a property of an event that occurs at an arbitrary time,
without synchronization to a reference clock. In software, it is the property
of a function that begins an operation and returns prior to the completion or
termination of the operation.
