Coasting distance of the servo motor became longer

• The coasting distance of the servo motor became longer.
Possible cause
1.
The load increased and exceeded the
permissible load to motor inertia.
2.
The electromagnetic brake was malfunctioning
due to the end of its life.

1.4 Trouble which does not trigger an alarm/warning
Check/action method
Reduce the load.
Remove the servo motor and all the wiring from the machine, and check if the
servo motor shaft can be rotated by the hands. If the motor rotates, the brake
has a failure. Replace the servo motor.
