The display shows "off"

• The display shows "off".
Possible cause
1.
Operation mode for manufacturer setting is
enabled.

The display is turned off

• The display is turned off.
Possible cause
1.
The external I/O terminal is shorted.
2.
The power is not supplied to the control circuit.
3.
The voltage of the control circuit power supply
has dropped.

The servo motor does not operate

• The servo motor does not operate.
Possible cause
1.
The connection of the servo motor is incorrect.
2.
A servo motor power cable or an encoder
cable is connected to an incorrect axis.
3.
An alarm or warning is occurring.
4.
The system is in the test operation mode.
[A]: The point in the lower right of the display is blinking.
[G] [WG]: Test operation select switch (SW3-1) has been turned
on (up) (The motor-less operation has been enabled).
5.
The torque is insufficient for the large load.
6.
An unintended torque limit has been enabled.
7.
The setting value for the torque limit is
incorrect.
8.
The machine is interfering with the servo
motor.
9.
For a servo motor with an electromagnetic
brake, the brake has not been released.
10.
LSP (Forward rotation stroke end) and LSN
(Reverse rotation stroke end) are not on.
11.
A software position limit is reached.
12.
SON (Servo-on) is not switched on.
13.
The setting of the electronic gear is incorrect.
14.
PUS (Temporary stop) is switched on.
Check/action method
Do not turn on all the DIP switches (SW3). Set SW3 correctly.
Refer to "Switch setting and display of the servo amplifier" in the following
manual.

Cycle the power.
Check/action method
If disconnecting the following connectors solves the trouble, the cable wiring
may be shorted. Review the wiring.
[A]: CN1, CN2, CN2L, CN3
[G]: CN2, CN2L, CN3
[WG]: CN2A, CN2B, CN2C, CN3
Turn on the control circuit power supply.
Increase the voltage of the control circuit power supply.
Check/action method
Check the U/V/W wiring.
Refer to "Connection example of power supply circuit" in the following manual.

Check if the encoder cable and the servo motor power cable are connected to
the same axis.
Check the contents of the alarm or warning, and remove its cause.
Cancel the test operation mode.
Disable the motor-less operation.

Check the instantaneous torque on the status display ([A]) or with MR
Configurator2. If the torque reaches the maximum torque or the torque limit
value, reduce the load or replace the servo motor with a larger-capacity servo
motor.
Cancel the torque limit.
Check if the torque limit value is "0".

Remove the interference.
Turn on the electromagnetic brake power.
Check if [AL. 099 Stroke limit warning] is occurring.
Turn on LSP and LSN.
Check if [AL. 098 Software limit warning] is occurring.
Place the moving part in the range of the software position limit.
Switch on SON.
Set a proper value of the electronic gear.
Cancel PUS.
