q Set the rotary switch SW1 (on the interface board) for the required
input.

NOTE: An input circuit is monitored for both open or short circuit fault.
The single channel interface unit can be configured to operate:
q Single input
q or Multiple input
q with Output signal via relay change over contacts
At an appropriate stage of commissioning the interface input and output
circuits must be tested as per project specification. The tests are based on
the type of equipment interfaced.

NOTE: When the single channel interface unit is configured to accept
single input then a line module must be used.
q The line module may be installed in a remote location up to 100m cable
distance away. Its two position switch must be set to input.
