Use the chart below to verify that all parts have been shipped.

Note:
Determine the left and right side of the machine
from the normal operating position.

Installing the Steering
Wheel
TC Models Only
Parts needed for this procedure:

Steering wheel
Procedure
1.
Release the tabs on the back of the steering
wheel that hold the center cover in place, and
remove the cover from the hub of the steering
wheel.
2.
Remove the locknut and washer from the
steering shaft.
3.
Slide the steering wheel and washer onto the
shaft.
Note:
Align the steering wheel on the shaft so
that the cross beam is horizontal when the tires
are pointed straight ahead and the thicker spoke
of the steering wheel is downward.
Note:
The dust cover is positioned onto the
steering shaft at the factory.
4.
Secure the steering wheel to the shaft with the
locknut and torque the locknut to 24 to 29 N∙m
(18 to 22 ft-lb) as shown in

Mount the Rollover Protection System
(ROPS).

Check the fluid levels and tire pressure.
Burnish (break-in) the brakes.
5.
Align the tabs of the cover with the slots in the
steering wheel and snap the cover onto the
steering wheel hub
