Installing the SBM Cabinet

The SBM is bolted to a cushioned wooden pallet consisting of a wood platform
secured to foam cushions. The foam cushions act as shock absorbers for the
cabinet during shipment and movement to the installed location.
The SBM cabinet is extremely heavy. If unloading instructions are
not followed exactly, the cabinet may tip and cause serious injury.
1.
Move SBM to final installed location using forklift jacks between foam cushions
on the bottom of the unit.
2.
Remove side panels from SBM cabinet, to gain access to hardware securing
cabinet to cushioned pallet.
3.
Remove hardware securing cabinet to cushioned pallet.
4.
Attach suitable hoist to SBM lifting eyes, and lift the SBM cabinet until the
cabinet bottom clears the cushioned pallet by approximately 3 mm (1/8 in.).
5.
Once SBM cabinet is clear of the cushioned pallet, pull the pallet from under
the UPS cabinet. Discard or recycle them in a responsible manner.
