Configuring a terminal station
When a slave unit is located at the end of a transmission line, the unit must be configured as a terminal
station.
In the example described in "Procedure 1", the slave stations (A) and (C) are the terminal stations.
Setting method
Set the mode selector siwthces "SW1 & SW2".

Setting the output status during a communication error
The operation status of the slave unit when a communication error occurs is selected whether to turn
"OFF" or "Hold" the output operation with the mode selector switch "SW3".
If the terminal stations are not properly configured, the
ERROR LED on the CPU will be turned on when the
power is turned on.(Self-diagnostic error code
E51).Turn on the power again after making the correnct
setting.
For the slave station which is not a terminal station, set
the mode selector switches "SW1 & SW2" to OFF.
