3. Fan Motor Control line Open Circuit Inspection
Check for continuity of the Green/black wire , - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - ,
between the ECM 34P (Black) and fan motor 2P
(Nat ural) connector.
Is there continuity?
NO - Open circuit in Green/black wire.
YES - Fau lty fan motor.
4. Oil Temperature Sensor Resistance Inspection
Measure the resistance Yellow/green wire termi·
nal of the wire harness side and ground.
Is the resistance within the

• Check the oil temperature sensor
(page 22-17).
YES - Faulty ECM.

1. Oil Temperature line Inspection
Disconnect the oil temperature sensor connector

Does the fan motor stop?
YES - Faulty oillempe rature sensor.
NO - GO TO STEP 2.
