CRANKSHAFT/AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION

Install 8 new O-ring to the breather joint flange.
Install the crankcase breather joint into the rear
crankcase.
Install and lighten the breather joint bolt.
lnslall the left engine cover bracket and tighten the
bolts.
Install the dowel pin.
InstaH the primary driven gear with its flange side
facing the automatic transmission.
Temporarily install the centrifugal clutch outer onto

the crankshaft.

Apply oil to the primary driven gear socket bolt
threads.
Hold the primary drive and driven gear with a gear
holder, then tighten the primary driven gear socket
bolts to the specified torque.
TOOL:
Gear holder
07724-0010200
TORQUE: 17 N'm 11.7 kgf·m. 12 IbHtJ
Install the following:
- camshaft (page 8-19)
oil pump (page 5-18)
flywheel/starter clutch (page 11-15)
sub-transmission/gearshift linkage (page 12-15)
centrifugal clutch (page 10-10)
cylinder and piston (page 9-8)
cylinder head (page 8-22)
engine (page 7-7)
