5.2.5 – Disassembly of pump
Tools:
• 5mm open-end wrench
• BTR 15mm wrench.
• Cross-tip screwdriver
Procedure:
1. Disassembly of pump assembly:
• Remove nut (5mm open-end wrench)
• Remove pump from mount.
2. Cleaning and replacement of pump seal in case of leak (See. fig. 5-3)
• Remove four BTR15 screws.
• Remove pump cover.
• Remove pump head with seal (clean).
• Remove pump body taking care to identify positioning, with label toward outside.
• Access diaphragm.
• To replace diaphragm, remove Philips head screw, then remove and replace
diaphragm.
• If leak persists, replace pump body.
• Assemble by performing disassembly procedure in reverse order.
