4.1.7 – Cleaning the unit and its accessories
4.1.7.1 – Cleaning the unit
• Whenever necessary, clean the unit by wiping it with a rag moistened with alcohol.
4.1.7.2 – Cleaning accessories
• Using a dry rag, clean:
- The first cylinder sensor clamp,
- The engine oil temperature sensor,
- The gas sampling sensor; unplug the holes on the coupling using a metal
needle and blow out using compressed air, from the inside toward the outside,
- Check that the tube in not soiled, perforated or clogged.

4.1.8 - Filter

All the filters must be checked daily. See section 5.2.2 to replace filters.
• When the display indicates "GAS FLOW DEFECT":
1. Replace the line filter of the gas sampling tube.
2. Clean the filter cartridge using soapy water or replace it.
3. Replace the pump protection filter.
4. Replace the cell protection filter.

inside the unit.
See section 5.1.3. The sensor can only be replaced by a repair technician licensed by the
D.R.I.R.E.

value indicated by the unit in ambient air is around: 20.95

The electrolytic cell has a limited service life. Its wear rate is comparable to that of a battery.
