Network Submenu

This submenu (see figures 11 and 12) contains options to configure network settings.
Network settings can be assigned automatically with Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol
(DHCP) or manually by specifying an IP address, subnet mask, gateway address, and
Domain Name Server (DNS) IP address obtained from the network administrator. To finalize
pending changes, press the Context button directly below Apply. To cancel pending
changes, click the Context button directly below Main.

DHCP — Press the ◄ or ► Navigation button to enable or disable dynamic host
configuration protocol (DHCP) (the default is disabled). When enabled, only the host
name can be changed.
Host name — If DHCP mode is enabled, press the
the host name (63 character maximum). Use the ◄ and ► Navigation buttons to
move the cursor position and the Keypad to enter values.
NOTE: Use the # Keypad button to enter a dash (-) character.
IP address — Press the

values. The range is 0.0.0.0 to 255.255.255.255 (the default is 192.168.254.251).

values. The range is 0.0.0.0 to 255.255.255.255 (the default is 255.255.255.0).
