Initial You can select to set or not set an initial value.
Value If the initial value is set, specify the value of the
variable in the following cases and do not
specify the Retain attribute.

When power is turned ON
•
When operating mode changes
•
When a major fault level Controller error oc-
curs
If the initial value is not set, the value is not re-
tained.
Constant If you set the Constant attribute, you can set
the initial value of the variable when it is down-
loaded, but you cannot overwrite the value af-
terward.
Network This attribute allows you to use CIP communi-
