The Source Route Ring Number is used by the token ring bridge when
Source Route traffic is enabled in SR and SRT modes. When combined with
the bridge number for the module and the ring number of the output port,
it serves to uniquely identify this bridge for forwarding of packets.
Values for the Source Route Ring Number range from 1 to 4095 and is
entered as a decimal number. The default value for this parameter is:
Default = slot number x 100 + port number
This parameter is only applicable to Token Ring and FDDI ports.
To set the Source Route Ring Number:
1 From the top level of the Administration Console, enter:
bridge port srRingNumber
You are prompted for the slot number(s) or
and FDDI ports.
2 Enter new value [1 through 4095].
