Problem
Recovery Procedure
You have a problem with your
security key, or X i s
displayed in the operator
information area.
Replace the display element. (Go to Chapter 5.)
If the problemstill exists, replace the logic
element.
Your display has low contrast,
volume, or brightness.
Adjust the appropriate controls. (Refer to
Chapter 2, Learning to Operate the Display
Station.)
If these controls need frequent adjustment,
replace the display element. (Go to Chapter 5.)
If the problem still exists, replace the
logic e'ement

display. This may occur
after a 2% % error code
has been displayed.
1. Press the Reset key and try the failing
operation.
2. If the problem occurs again, check that
the keyboard ID is correct for this
display station. To select the keyboard
ID, refer to Chapter 2.

1. Press the Reset key and try the failing

2. If the problem occurs again, make sure the
other display stations connected to the
same control unit/adapter are working.
If the others are working, replace the logic

system operator and report the error message.
