• One key causes an incorrect character to be displayed.
• One key causes no character to be displayed.
I\lo Replace the keyboard element.

Make sure the display station keyboard ID agrees with that
expected by the system. (Refer to Chapter 2 on how to
display and change the keyboard ID. If you are unsure of
the correct keyboard ID, check with your system operator.)
After making sure the display station keyboard ID is set
correctly, do you still have the problem with your keyboard?
Yes
Replace the keyboard element.
(Go to Chapter 5.)
if the problem still exists,
replace the logic element.
No
Your display station should be operational.
If it is not, begin the CPAR again. If you
still cannot locate the procedure to correct
your problem, contact your IBM sales
representative.
