one of the symbols listed below to determine if the function is
permanently or temporarily unavailable.
• If a UlA or ilB. is displayed, the function (except Ident)
is permanently unavailable. Press the Reset key and take a
different action.
• If @J. is displayed and your cursor blink attribute does not
work, the Print, Ident, Cursr Blink, and the Alt Cursr keys are
permanently unavailable. Press the Reset key and take a
different action.
• If *^1 isdisplayed, the function istemporarily unavailable.
Press the Reset key, check the screen, and try the function
again.
• if none of the above are displayed, the Ident function is
temporarily unavailable while o-"nn is displayed (printer Is
printing). Wait until the printer ends or press the Reset key and
take a different action.
X ^ nn Your display station is not operating properly. The error number, nn
or nnn, defines the type of Machine Check.
X N nnn
Press the Reset key and continue. If the problem persists, notify
your supervisor and report this message, including the numbers, for
