10. Turn the metal retaining ring on the keyboard
cable counterclockwise until the cable is loose;
then pull the cable from the display element.

11. Exchange the failing display element with a good
one. For instructions on how to package a failing
element, go to Packaging Instructions in this
chapter. Make sure that you:
• Return both security keys.
Remove the power cord and cable
attachment module. DO NOT RETURN
THESE WITH THE DISPLAY ELEMENT
UNLESS YOU ARE DIRECTED TO IN THE
CPAR.
12. Place the new display element in its highest position.
O Push in side knobs.
O Remove the tape from the back of the display
