Shifts and Modes
These messages tell you what shift and mode your keyboard is using at the time.
NUM Your keyboard is in numeric mode. Only the 0 through 9, period (.),
minus (-), and dup keys will be accepted.
TEXT Your keyboard is in text mode.
Your keyboard is in uppershift.
/V Your display station is in insert mode.
