Does the alarm come ON and stay ON?
Yes No
Replace the logic element.
(Go to Chapter 5.)
If the problem still exists,
replace the display element.

Make sure the brightness control is set at an appropriate
level by doing the following:
1. Press the SetUp key.

2. Press and hold the o- key until a suitable brightness is obtained.
3. Press the SetUp key.
Is the display still completely dark?
Yes No
Replace the display element.
(Go to Chapter 5.)
If the problem still exists,
replace the logic element.
Your problem should be corrected.
If the brightness needs frequent
adjustment, replace the logic element.
