Character Highlighting
These messages appear when a highlighting attribute is selected.

A normal character was selected.
A blinking character was selected.
B
A reverse character was selected.
&
An underscore character was selected.
I
K>
An operator selection was madeby a Field Inhibit key or the
selection was made by the program.
^
You cannot make a character highlighting selection. The selection
was made by the system.
Printer Status
These messages are used during print operations to tell you where the print
operation is performed and to inform you of the progress of the print operation.
You pressed the Ident key to enter a new printer assignment. The
next two numbers you enter appear in the two underlined locations
of the message. After you enter a valid printer ID or class, the
cursor reappears.
nn
Your display station is authorized to use printer number nn.
Numbers 01 through 31 identify individual printers. Numbers 70
through 85 identify classes of printers.
If nothing is displayed, you have no printer assignment. If your
3180 is attached to a 3276 Control Unit Display Station, you may
use the Ident procedure to enter the printer number of an available
printer; otherwise you cannot print.
nn
The assigned printer is printing your work.
inn
The selected printer failed while printing your work.

Your printer assignment has changed. If you press the Ident key,
your new printer assignment is displayed.
CURSOR LOCATION
54
If the cursor locator is enabled, the row/column position of the cursor is
displayed in columns 73-80.
