If your problem occurred with the divider scan line displayed
(Figure 1), the ready indicator may or may not be on. After
you signed on to the system, find your problem in the chart
below and do the recovery procedure listed.
Problem
There is a K or KN error code
displayed in the operator
information area.
A key or several keys on your
keyboard cause incorrect
characters or no characters
to appear on your display.
Recovery Procedure
Go to step 4.28.
Make sure the keyboard cable is connected,
turn off the display station, wait at least
five seconds, and then turn on the display
station again. If the problem still exists,
go to step 4.34.
Your display is not readable
or stationary.
Replace the display element. (Go to Chapter 5.
If the problem still exists, replace the logic
element.
Characters displayed on the
display have missing or
extra dots.
or
Your attributes or cursor do
not function correctly.
or
Your display screen format
does not work properly.
(Refer to Chapter 2, for
screen size format.)
or
Your brightness, contrast,
volume, and other controls
need frequent adjustment or
do not work correctly.
There is a numeric four-digit
error code displayed in the
operator information area.
Replace the logic element. (Go to Chapter 5.)
