SECTION 6: MAINTENANCE

To reduce risk of shock or
accidental startup, always
disconnect machine from
power before adjustments,
maintenance, or service.

Schedule

For optimum performance from your machine,
follow this maintenance schedule and refer to any
specific instructions given in this section.
Daily Check
Lubricate feed & glue spindle chain.
Remove excess glue residue.
Worn or damaged wires.
Any other unsafe condition.
Cleaning &
Protecting
Cleaning the Model G0825 is relatively easy.
Excess glue may become lodged around feed
rollers or on outfeed base. To remove excess
glue from feed rollers, heat the unit to a working
temperature, and use an old brush, toothbrush,
plastic scraper, or wooden spoon to remove the
majority of glue residue.
For residue farther from the heater element, use a
heat gun to warm the adhesive, and gently scrape
material from the surface with a wooden spoon,
or plastic scraper. DO NOT use excessive force
to remove built-up residue, as this can mar the
work surface.
Apply light coats of silicone spray or oil on work
surfaces to keep dry and protected.
