Press heated fence and outfeed roller (see
Figure 20) flush against workpiece edge, and
then start feed rollers to begin applying tape
to workpiece.
As tape is applied, move edgebander at an
even rate of speed along edge of workpiece
while applying pressure to help adhesion.
Adjust speed by turning speed dial on control
handle.

10. As edgebander comes within 1"–2" of start/

end of a workpiece radius, veer edgebander
away from workpiece edge, while keeping
guide plate flush against workpiece top sur-
face.
Stop feed rollers after glued tape has extend-
ed beyond start/stop point.
Note: For straightedged workpieces, stop
feed rollers once edgebanding has been
applied to entire work surface.
