17.4 Setting the stroke movement of the feed dog

Proper setting
When the needle tip reaches the needle hole, the ascending and
descending tooth points of the feed dog should be level with the throat
plate.
Cover
• Remove the oil collection tray (2) ( p. 25).
• Remove the grease cap (1) ( p. 26).

To set the stroke movement of the feed dog:
1. Tilt the machine head ( p. 19).
2. Loosen the screw (3).
3. Lock the machine in place at position B.

the machine is switched off.
