Context

Description
This command enables the context to configure Link Layer Discovery Protocol (LLDP) parameters on the
specified port.

Context
config>port>ethernet>lldp
Description
This command configures destination MAC address parameters.
Parameters
bridge-mac — Specifies destination bridge MAC type to use by LLDP.

admin-status
Syntax
admin-status {rx | tx | tx-rx | disabled}
Context
config>port>ethernet>lldp>dstmac
Description
This command specifies the administratively desired status of the local LLDP agent.
Parameters
rx — Specifies the LLDP agent will receive, but will not transmit LLDP frames on this port.
tx — Specifies that the LLDP agent will transmit LLDP frames on this port and will not store any
information about the remote systems connected.
tx-rx — Specifies that the LLDP agent will transmit and receive LLDP frames on this port.
disabled — Specifies that the LLDP agent will not transmit or receive LLDP frames on this port. If there is
remote systems information which is received on this port and stored in other tables, before the port's
admin status becomes disabled, then the information will naturally age out.
