(7) Unsnap center seat belt bezel from rear shelf
and feed bezel, belt and buckle through the hole in
the rear shelf (Fig. 7).
(8) Remove rear shelf trim panel from the vehicle.
INSTALLATION
(1) Place rear shelf trim panel in position in vehicle.
(2) Feed the seat belt bezel, belt and buckle
through the hole in the rear shelf. Be certain belt is
not twisted or tangled after installation.
(3) If equipped, connect CHMSL wire connector.
(4) Line up rear shelf trim clips by looking under
trim panel. Push parcel shelf trim rearward toward
rear glass to fully engage clips.
(5) Install the rear shelf retaining pushpins (Fig. 7).
(6) Install the upper and lower quarter trim pan-
els. Refer to Group 23, Body for the procedure.
NOTE: The rear seat back retaining nut also serves
as the center seat belt anchor. Be certain to torque
this nut to 60 N·m (44 ft. lbs.).
(7) Install the rear seat back. Refer to Group 23,
Body for the procedure.
(8) Install the rear seat cushion. Refer to Group
23, Body for the procedure.
