Scan to PC setting screens
The setting screens for the Scan to PC feature can be displayed by pressing the <Scan to PC> button.
There are three setting screens for the Scan to PC feature: [Save In], [Basic Scanning], and [More Scan
Features] screens.
To display each screen, select the corresponding tab on the touch panel.

1 Address Displays the addresses registered in Address Book. The button only displays the addresses for the
Book... Scan to PC feature.
Use this button when selecting addresses ("Save In" locations) from Address Book.

Sets the sender of the e-mail. The sender's address can be selected from Address
Book or entered using the numeric keypad. When selected from Address Book, the
name set for [Recipient Name] will be set as the name of the sender's address.
• The scanner cannot receive e-mail. It is recommended to set an address that can
receive e-mail, such as the administrator's address, in case the e-mail sever
returns e-mail in the event of errors.
• The characters that can be used when entering the sender's address is the same
as for the recipient's address (e-mail address entry box).
• The default sender's address is the address set in [Machine E-mail Address].
• This setting is optional. If you leave this blank, however, an error may occur when
attempted to send an e-mail depending on the SNTP server used.

• [Machine E-mail Address] can be set under [Properties] > [Protocol Settings] > [E-
mail] > [Machine E-mail Address].
