Important
• If a password is set for the copy features, you will be
prompted to enter the password before entering into
the [Basic Copying] screen. If prompted, enter the
password using the numeric keypad and select
[Confirm]. For information on how to set passwords,
refer to "6.4 System Settings" > "Service Login" in the
User Guide.
Set the basic copy features
1.
Select the buttons for the desired features
and configure the settings.

Set the image quality features

Select the [Image Quality] tab.
The [Image Quality] screen appears.

Select the [More Copy Features] tab.

Enter the quantity
1.
Enter the number of copies using the
numeric keypad. The number entered is
displayed in the top right corner of the touch
panel.
Up to 999 copies can be made.
Note
• To cancel an incorrect entry, press the <C> button and
enter the correct quantity.
Start the copy job
1.
Press the <Start> button.
The copying starts. When the job is complete,
the copies of the document is printed from the
printer.
Important
• When the document is loaded into the document
feeder, do not hold it while it is being fed.
Note
• If a problem occurs, the touch panel displays a
message. Follow the instructions in the message to
remedy the problem. If an error code is displayed,
refer to "Error Codes" (P.72) for suggested solutions.
When you have more documents to copy:
When you have more documents to copy, select
[Next Original] on the touch panel while the first
document is being scanned. The scanner
recognizes that there are more documents to be
copied, and scans them as a single job.
Up to 500 pages can be scanned per a single job.
Note
• When the number of scanned page exceeds 500, a
message appears, and the scanner will not scan the
rest of the pages. If you want to scan documents that
exceeds 500 pages, scan the first 500 pages, and
then scan the rest of the pages as a new job.
