K Installation position of Hall sender.
Notes:
♦ In normal operation the engine control unit
recognises the ignition position for cylinder
1 from the Hall sender signal.
♦ Because it is no longer possible to assign
the cylinders to the knock sensor signals if
no signal is received from the Hall sender,
the knock control is switched off and the ig-
nition angle is retarded slightly in order to
reliably avoid any knocking.
♦ If the Hall sender signal is not received, the
engine continues running and can also be
started again for the following reasons:
