17.1 Overview
This chapter shows you how to configure a call access code for authority groups.
The call access code allows you to use the outbound dialing rules assigned to your authority
group from extensions that do not have the same outbound dialing rules assigned to them.
The following figure shows user A, who is a member of authority group AG1 (which has the
ability to make long distance calls) moving to a phone belonging to authority group AG2
(which cannot make long distance calls). She enters the code number and is able to place a call
over the long distance connection.
