16.1 Overview
This chapter shows you how to configure and manage pickup groups on the X2002.
The X2002 allows you to organize sets of extensions into pickup groups. All telephone users
with extensions in the same pickup group can answer incoming calls for any member of that
group. For example, you may want to configure a pickup group for your sales department. If a
call comes in to one salesperson but they are not available to answer the call, then another
member of the sales team can pick up the call. The members pick up the call by dialing the
feature code for Group Pickup.
