Chapter 8: Troubleshooting
Troubles of Paper Feed and Paper Exit
When the paper misfeed often occurs, you can reduce the frequency by the following adjust-
ments.
Dehumidify Fan Heater
When PF-602 feeds coated paper, you can reduce paper feeding troubles by using Dehumidify
Fan Heater.
1.
Press [Utility/Counter] on the control panel.
2.
Press [02 User Setting].
3.
Press [01 System Setting].
4.
Press [03 Paper Tray Setting].
5.
Press [04 Dehumidify Fan Heater].
6.
From [Dryness Preparation], select [ON] or [OFF].
7.
From [Fan Heater Control (Tray4 and Tray5)], select [Auto],
[Compulsive ON] or [Compulsive OFF].
8.
Press [OK].
9.
Press [Exit].
The MACHINE screen will be restored.
