Set the Paper to the tray

Loading Paper

• In case of Paper Feeder Unit PF-602, be sure that the machine is powered ON
before withdrawing the tray.
• Only one tray can be withdrawn at a time.
• In case of Tray 1, 2, 3, load paper with print side face down in the tray.
• In case of Paper Feeder Unit PF-602, load paper with print side face up in the tray.
• Do not load paper above the limit level of the side guides.
• Air nozzles are located on the side guides of Paper Feeder Unit PF-602. When you
load paper, be sure that the air nozzles are not blocked by the paper.
• Be sure that the side guides and rear guide are securely aligned to the paper; other-
wise the machine cannot detect the correct paper size, or machine trouble may
occur.
• Do not bump the tray into the main body; otherwise machine trouble may be caused
for an unexpected impact from the weight of the tray or papers.
Main Body Trays (Trays 1 to 3)

Withdraw the tray to be sup-
plied with paper.

Open the feed roller.
