Chapter 8: Troubleshooting

Both Sides Adjust

When the gap of position of the printed images is caused between front page and back page,
adjust it by using the Both Sides Adj. function.

[Both Sides Adj.] Setting

When you use Both Sides Adj. function, [Zoom] (Vertical/Horizontal) and [Image Shift] (Up/
Down/Right/Left) can be specified to adjust.
About the front page, the printing positions against the paper can be adjusted. About the back
page, the printing positions against the front page can be adjusted.
The Both Sides Adj. function can be set in multiple methods as follows;
• Set using [Both Sides] on the MACHINE screen
• Set per paper on the Paper Set Reg./Del. screen accessed from Utility Screen displayed by
pressing the [Utility/Counter] on the control panel.
• Set per tray on the Change Individual Set screen.
• About the details of Both Sides Adj. settings on the Change Individual Set screen, refer to
"[Both Sides Adj.] setting" (page 1-25).
