Set the Paper to the tray
• The paper can be supplied the tray which is not used for the current copying or printing.
• When [Scan stop by pulling out tray] is ON and you open the tray of PF-602 while scan-
ning the document, the message "Please insert the tray" appears on the touch panel and
scanning stops. In this case, close the tray and confirm that the message "Press [Start] to
restart" (the MACHINE screen)/ "Press [Start] to copy" (the COPY screen) appears on the
touch panel. Then press the [Start] to restart of copying or scanning.

to the User's Guide - Copier.
• About how to adjust the side guide plate to set the small paper to PF-602 refer to the
User's Guide - Copier.
• In case of Large Capacity Unit LU-202, when the machine is not powered, the bot-
tom plate does not go down even if you press the button to lower the bottom plate.
Turn the machine power ON.
• In case of Large Capacity Unit LU-202 and Multi-Sheet Bypass Tray MB-504, load
paper with print side face up in the tray.
• Do not load paper above the limit level of the side guides.
• Air nozzles are located on the side guides of Large Capacity Unit LU-202. When you
load paper, be sure that the air nozzles are not blocked by the paper.
• Be sure that the side guides and rear guide of Large Capacity Unit LU-202 are
securely aligned to the paper; otherwise the machine cannot detect the correct
paper size, or paper jam or machine trouble may occur.
• Be sure that the side guides and rear guide of Multi-Sheet Bypass Tray MB-504 are
securely aligned to the paper; otherwise the machine cannot detect the correct
paper size, or paper jam or machine trouble may occur.
