12 Using the Main Menu
Lorex DDNS is available as an optional connectivity option. See 19 DDNS Setup (Ad-
vanced), page 140 for details.
• For details on connecting to your system over the Internet using a smartphone or tablet,
see 14 FLIR Secure: Connecting to the DVR Using a Mobile Device, page 124.
• For details on connecting to your system over the Internet using a PC or Mac computer,
see 13 FLIR Client 12 for PC / Mac, page 91.
Prerequisites:
• You must create a free Lorex DDNS account. See 19 DDNS Setup (Advanced), page
140 for full setup instructions.

To configure DDNS settings:

1. Under Settings, click Network, then click on the DDNS tab.
2. Select Enable from the dropdown next to DDNS.
3. Select LOREXDDNS from the dropdown next to Server.
4. Click the field next to Domain Name to enter the URL shown under My DDNS Devi-
ces in your My Lorex account (for example, http://www.tomsmith.lorexddns.net).
5. Click the field next to User Name to enter the Username shown under My DDNS De-
vices in your My Lorex account
6. Click the field next to Password to enter the Password shown under My DDNS Devi-
ces in your My Lorex account
7. Click Save.

12.2.19 Configuring RTSP Streaming (Advanced)

RTSP streaming allows you to stream video from a specific camera using a web address.
It is an optional connectivity method used by 3rd party software applications.
