1. Ensure you have saved the settings you would like to copy to another channel.
2. Click Copy.
3. Check the channels you would like to copy your settings to, or check all to copy set-
tings to all channels.
4. Click Save.
13.6.2 Changing a Camera's On-Screen Display (OSD)
Edit camera channel names and whether or not to include recording time and channel
name on the on-screen display.
To change a camera's OSD:
1. Click Remote Setting in the top-right corner of the window.
2. Under Settings, click Display to open the Live tab.
3. Select the channel to configure the OSD for from the dropdown next to Channel.
4. Click the field next to Channel Name to edit the channel name.
5. Click the switch next to Show Name to enable (
name shown on-screen in live viewing and recordings.
6. Click the switch next to Record Time to enable (
stamp shown on-screen in recordings.
CAUTION
By default, the system is set to show timestamps in video recordings. It is highly recommended to
show timestamps in recordings for legal reasons.
7. Click Save.
8. (OPTIONAL) Use the Copy function to copy your settings to another or all connected
cameras. See 13.6.1 Copying Channel Settings to Another Channel, page 98 for de-
tails on using the copy function.
13.6.3 Setting up Covert Recording
Covert recording allows you to hide channels from the live view of the DVR while continu-
ing to record video. You will also be able to see covert channels when viewing remotely us-
ing a computer or mobile app.
To enable Covert recording:
