1. Click Remote Setting in the top-right corner of the window.
2. Under System, click Info , then click the Record Info tab. Click Refresh to refresh the
information.
13.6.27 Setting the Remote ID
If you have more than one DVR, you can use the ID function to pair the included remote
control to a specific DVR.
To set the remote ID:
1. Click Remote Setting in the top-right corner of the window.
2. Under System, click Remote ID to open the Remote ID tab.
3. Click the field next to ID to enter the desired ID number.
4. Click Save.
5. On the remote control, press ID then enter the ID number you entered in step 3, then
press ENTER to confirm.
13.6.28 Manual Firmware Upgrade
The system supports automatic firmware upgrades over the network to ensure your unit is
always up-to-date. Your DVR must be connected to a router using the included Ethernet
cable to receive automatic firmware upgrade. It is recommended to use automatic upgrade
unless directed to perform a manual upgrade by technical support. For details on auto-
matic firmware upgrades, see 12.6.6 Using Automatic Firmware Upgrade, page 90.
Prerequisites:
• Save the .bin firmware upgrade file on your computer.
