13.5.2 Playback Controls
1. Calendar: Select a day to search for video from.
2. Type: Select the type of recording you want to search for, or select All to search for all
recordings.
3. Playback Channels: Check channels you would like to search for video from. Check
Synchronous playback to play all channels at once.
4. Search: Click to search for recordings based on your criteria.
5. Timeline: Recordings that fit your search will be displayed in the timeline.
• Continuous recordings are represented by green bars, and motion by yellow.
• Use the / buttons to increase or decrease the timeframe of recordings
shown on the timeline.
6. Playback Area: Double-click a channel to view in full-screen.

9. Go Forward One Frame: Move frame-by-frame through playback when paused.
10. Record: Click to start/stop recording. Videos are saved to a folder on your computer
that you specify. For details, see 13.7 Local Settings Menu — Set Download Location
and File Type, page 123.
11. Capture: Click to capture a snapshot. Snapshots are saved to a folder on your com-
puter that you specify. For details, see 13.7 Local Settings Menu — Set Download Lo-
cation and File Type, page 123.
12. Download: Opens the Download menu, which allows you to download several video
recordings at once. For details, see 13.5.3 Using Video Download, page 98.

16. Mute/Unmute: Audio-enabled cameras required.
17. Digital Zoom: Click-and-drag on a channel to zoom in. Click again to return to normal
viewing.
