4. Move the cursor to FUNCTION LOCK and select either
ON or OFF with the A or B button. This setup is
applied only to the receiver. The default setting is OFF.
ON: SWITCH SITE, VIDEO AUTO/MANUAL and ALM
ACK buttons are disabled.
OFF: These buttons are operable.
482 MENU PASSWORD
The password is registered with a 4-digit number in this
menu.
1. Open the 482 MENU PASSWORD menu.
1-1 A message "ENTER CURRENT PASSWORD"
appears if you have already registered the pass-
word. This message will not appear when the unit
is very first to use or right after the initializing, then
the message skips to "ENTER NEW PASSWORD".

1-2. Enter the currently registered password with the
numeric buttons, then press the ENTER.
When the entered password is correct, the mes-
sage changes to "RE-ENTER NEW PASSWORD".
When the entered password is wrong, press the
ESC button to quit the menu. Ask your dealer or
system administrator what the registered password
was.
2. When a message "ENTER NEW PASSWORD" appears
on the menu, enter a new password, then press the
ENTER. The new password is now registered.

A password consists of 4-digit numeric entered with
buttons from 0 to 9, # and *.
We recommend that you take notes the password and
retain it for future reference.
3. When a message "RE-ENTER NEW PASSWORD"
appears, it prompts you to enter the new password for
verification. Press the ENTER to return the menu to the

500 CONTROL (Transmitter only)
Camera selection, preset position selection, trigger output
assignment and camera menu setup can be made through
this window from the Control site (Transmitter) unit.
Operations for this window is exactly the same as that of
the 510 CAMERA • PRESET • TRIGGER OUT described in
the next page.
