Clear Commands
To delete data from the system, use the following commands from the Privi­
leged Exec mode:
Command
clear access-list
clear arp
clear arp-cache
clear bridge mac-table
clear history
clear ip ospf
clear ip traffic
clear l2acl
clear lacp
clear logging
clear screen
clear statistics
Function
Clear access-list counters for a specified Access Control List.
Clear the Address Resolution Protocol (arp) entry IP address.
Clear the Address Resolution Protocol (arp) cache.
Delete MAC entries from the MAC address table.
Clear the EXEC level history list.
Clear the IP OSPF counters, processes, and commands.
Clear IP traffic statistics.
Clear layer 2 acl counters for a specified Access Control List
and port.
Clears Link Access Control Protocol (LACP) data unit
statistics.
Empty the log buffer.
Wipe the terminal screen clean and reposition the cursor at
the top left corner.
Delete Ethernet statistics for the specified port.
